Chatham Dockyard Punch

Down at Chatham  Dockyard again today to collect Daughter and her final project at the end of her college annual show. As usual I had my camera with me and intended to photograph a rather impressive bit of machinery that was sitting a corner of the car park.

I had my camera a couple of lenses but failed to put a memory card in the the camera!!! Luckily daughter had her camera so I did manage to get a couple of images.

The machinery was rather impressive. existed from the days of riveted ship construction and was designed to cut a 1.25" hole through 1.5" of mild steel .

Dandelion

There are many Dandelion seed heads about in my garden at the moment. So one infront of the camera is one less in the garden.

New Building

Fir the first time for awhile I had a shoot in Battersea. It was a new build office block next to Albion Wharf.  I only shot the interior and the roof, as there was still site fencing around the building, so a return trip is called for.

Impossible Location

I have been thinking of trying to get my camera into impossible locations! Not looking to travel but more to get an image with a camera positioned away from the normal. In my collection  of kit I have a 4m boom arm and some heavy counterweights. With this I can get nearly 3m of reach away from the pivot. Add in remotes releases and a fisheye lens, stick it out of my attic window, and bingo! an impossible location!

Hosta leaves

I am acutely aware that I have let the blog slip over the past few months. There are many small reasons why I failed to produce some new images. Mostly I have moved in work and have found the learning curve steep but short, but because of this I have been rather tired.

Anyway here are the first new images for  some time. Hopefully more to follow soon.

Sunset Margaretting

A nice sunset but full moon stayed behind the clouds.
